Now that many fans own a piece of Thomas history thanks to the auction, there’s much discourse on the correct ways to handle these handmade treasures. We feel it would be a good time to go over the dos and don’ts of handling props we’ve learned in our 11 years of experience🧵

@faultywhistles We’ve asked a few times if they had luck finding any more but we stopped because we didn’t want to be too annoying, also I’m sure they lost whatever hardware to time

@faultywhistles That’s all we were given, the person who took the photos probably had them on a digital camera roll probably so I’m sure it was a mix of Thomas photos or personal photos, and they said they lost a bunch by the time we got these

@ThomasTankMerch stupid question, but are there files missing, or in a different place? the numbers jump so much

@CheeseJamming I think a few people made their own across Twitter but we plan to do something similar one day

@ThomasTankMerch is there a drive out there somewhere with every single piece of BTS material the public has access to? i know a lot of it is scattered around but is there a depository with everything in it somewhere?

One of our slate trucks (left) is the one that attached to the incline in "Trucks" and "Snow". It does not have coupling hooks like the rest, it has pins directly screwed into buffer beam with chains attached. It also still has some of the string used to pull the wagons up

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our display at this year's Great British Train Show! I had an absolute blast; I'm so proud of our team and how smoothly everything went together this time around. Looking forward to the next one!
