@ThomasTrinchi @cryptojourneyrs I think because the cop was white maybe and if anybody that's white does something to someone non-white then all bad things that happen to any random white is justified? Who knows, it's an overwhelmingly racist take, but what do you expect...

Three main takeaways from the game: 1. Popovic kept trying to aura farm with catastrophic idiosyncratic decisions. “What if I play a goalkeeper as a striker?” No one fucking cares bro, you fucking destroyed us. 2. Ahmed Ouf needs to leave Australia. Absolutely disgraceful to celebrate the defeat of Australia while serving as an elected representative. Insanely selfish and psychotic. 3. Craig Foster is the most annoying person in history. I already knew he was going to post some woke leftie “good sportsman” shit celebrating Egypt beating us. It literally took him 10 minutes from the final whistle. How is it possible for lefties to be that fucking annoying? It’s amazing.

@Sachk0 @DrewPavlou They should look at the Melb City academy and club strategy. We need something consistent. 👍🏻

Exceptional reaction to the Socceroos’ World Cup exit via Mark Milligan on SBS. Big-picture critique of Aussie football and what we want to stand for. "When are we as a nation and federation, decide who we are? When we qualify, is that just always going to be enough?”

Popovic is a fucking clown. He took off Patrick Beach who had never faced a penalty at a World Cup and put on Mat Ryan who the Egyptians had extensively studied.

Another day, another story about Australian governments selling out Australia. 👇 Taxpayers do not need to give $240 million to a foreign company that made $6 billion last year. If the government has to get involved, then it should take equity in the company, or even better invest in some coal or nuclear power stations that can provide cheap energy on a permanent basis. Subsidies are merely kicking the can down the road at taxpayer expense. There's no substitute for real solutions. People First offers plenty of them. These include building infrastructure, cutting taxes and cutting regulation. Sign up today at Peoplefirstparty.au •••••••••••••• "A group of international shareholders are warning state and federal governments against giving global commodities giant Trafigura hundreds of millions of dollars to keep smelting operations going in Australia. Trafigura owns Nyrstar, which runs smelters in Port Pirie and Hobart, collectively employing about 1,400 people. So far, the federal government and Tasmanian and South Australian state governments have given Trafigura $240 million in taxpayer funds, including $105 million early last month to maintain operations. In its latest half yearly results, posted in June, Trafigura reported a nearly $6 billion profit, but the company has threatened to shut Nyrstar's loss-making Australian businesses."

👏🇦🇺 Fair play to Lucas Herrington for having the courage to step up and take that penalty. He deserves credit for that. He missed, but he willingly put himself in the firing line. He accepted the pressure when plenty of others have hidden. But here's the bigger question: how is an 18-year-old centre-back taking a penalty in a World Cup shootout for Australia? Where were the senior players? Where were the experienced heads meant to carry that responsibility?
