How do you treat the Hantavirus?

Getting off sugar addiction is a road with a ditch on either side.
You can drive carefully for ten years. The ditch does not move. It sits six inches from your tyres, the entire time, exactly where it has always been. The only reason you are not in it is that you have not yet turned the wheel.
One decision turns the wheel. One "I've earned a square of dark chocolate." One "it's a special occasion, one slice won't hurt." One "I'm not like I used to be, I can handle it now."
You cannot handle it now. You could not handle it then. The wiring has not been rewritten. It has been quietened by distance. Give it something to react to and it remembers everything, instantly, louder than before.
This is why moderation does not work. Moderation requires a relationship with the substance. The relationship is the disease.
Abstinence is the only mode that keeps you out of the ditch. Hypervigilance is not paranoia. It is the recognition that the part of your brain that wants the sugar is patient, clever, and will wait years for you to drop your guard.
Both hands on the wheel. Eyes ahead. Do not negotiate with the verge.
The ditch is always six inches away. The drive is for life.

Nattokinase isn’t high on my list for cardiovascular prevention.
I don’t see convincing evidence that it should be a primary strategy for cardiovascular disease or stroke risk reduction.
If the goal is cardiovascular prevention, there are options with much stronger support. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA + DHA) have far better evidence. And if we’re talking specifically about atherosclerosis, berberine has a much more compelling evidence base—it’s been shown to reduce plaque formation, while also improving LDL, HbA1c, and glucose regulation.
Nattokinase may be interesting mechanistically, but right now the clinical evidence just isn’t strong enough for me to view it as a serious front-line strategy.

And in 2024, 44% using or planning to use AI say employees will "definitely" or "probably" be laid off. But here's what makes this different from every other tech revolution: major tech firms reduced new graduate hiring by 25% in 2024 compared to 2023. These aren't positions getting automated - these are jobs that no longer exist. The con everyone's selling: "AI will create new jobs!" Sure. While 85 million jobs are projected to be displaced by 2025, 97 million new roles may emerge. Sounds great until you read the fine print: 77% of new AI-related jobs require master's degrees, and 18% require doctoral degrees. Your four-year degree? Worthless. The new entry point is a PhD most people can’t afford. What's actually happening: A major tech CEO revealed that 30% of company code is now AI-written. At the same time, over 40% of recent layoffs targeted software engineers. Companies are dissolving copywriting divisions and replacing substantial portions of their coding staff. More than 80% of digital marketers already fear AI will replace content writers - and they're right.
