Final curtain fell on TPS production of “Willie Wonka.” 100 students were involved in this performance & did an outstanding job bringing to life Roald Dahl’s story. TY to amazing audience for coming to see our talented students & skilled musicians perform -1000 people attended

Tourtellotte Memorial High School held the Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) pinning ceremony and now 11 students will enter the workforce in the health care profession. Students were instructed by Ashly Meyer, CT State Workforce Development & Continuing Education.

Tourtellotte Tigers are making news!!!🐯 Gabe is a junior and Jayden is a freshman at TMHS. Gabe was also awarded First Team ECC Division 4 All-Star. Jayden was awarded Honorable Mention All-Star ECC Division. Jayden was also awarded ECC Division 4 Sportsmanship Award

This week TMHS was visited by NEASC team to evaluate the high school for decennial accreditation. I am so proud of Principal Mellen and the amazing faculty, staff and students at TMHS. The list of commendations in every priority area is astounding!

Everyone is in on the act of preparing for the district wide presentation of “Willy Wonka.” Our maintenance team just finished the construction of one of the props for the show. It’s simply wonderful how the entire community is coming together for this production. So much fun.

The spirit of community at Thompson Public Schools always amazes me! Recently TMS National Junior Honor Society students, under the guidance of advisor Louise Morrison, cut out Oompa Loompa costume sewing patterns for the production of Willy Wonka.
