@KuittinenPetri @SebAaltonen Do not know what target audience means? Not every laptop has to appeal to every type of user.

@SebAaltonen The lack of RAM is going to be glaring for multiple uses: running local AI models, games, heavy video or image editing, 3D modeling and even software development if you use a lot of virtual machines / docker images & run larger DB on locally. Pain is going to be here 2+ years.

I am vocal about 8GB RAM laptops because I am a game dev. We were also vocal about cut down 10GB RAM in Xbox Series S. Steam Deck is a 4 year old $399 gaming device with 16GB RAM. It's the modern min spec for gaming. I would love to see more games on Macs, but 8GB alienates devs.

@Mr___Hamad @mweinbach @inf4mous_x Not worth what? It's not marketed as a gaming laptop, but is still able to get by with a decent number of games. What's the issue?

@bunburyoudoujp 1. Bread and egg salad quality. 2. Available 24/7 within a 2 minute walk of just about anywhere 3. Price The popularity comes from the combination of all of this, not just purely the taste, although that is also very good

I am absolutely convinced that foreigners who are obsessed with “tamago sando” have some kind of brain damage. That’s an egg mayonnaise sandwich. Not a national dish. There’s nothing special about this sandwich. Literally, WTF are people on about?

I think it’s in the best interest of both teams for this game to get mercied after the 5th inning ends (15 run difference needed). Save your pitchers and get ready for the next.

@JapanTripFriend Not for going to Kamakura: Yokosuka line is one of the few commuter cars with green class. Worth it for the small extra charge

"What are the best day trips from Tokyo?" I get asked this all the time. Here are my personal picks. Kamakura — about 1 hour from Tokyo Station, no transfer needed. Ancient temples, a giant Buddha statue, and the ocean. The food scene is amazing too. This is probably my number one recommendation. Kawagoe — known as "Little Edo." The old streets feel like stepping back in time. Famous for street food and eel. Very popular with Japanese locals right now. Yokohama — a completely different vibe from Tokyo. The largest Chinatown in Japan, the Red Brick Warehouse, and a beautiful port area. Easy to get to and great for a chill day. Nikko — if you love history, this is the one. Stunning shrines surrounded by nature. A bit further out but absolutely worth it. Mt. Fuji area — you can combine a trip to see Fuji with a visit to a hot spring town. Gotemba or Yamanashi are great options. All of these are easy to access by public transportation from Tokyo. Which one would you want to visit? Any other day trip spots you'd recommend?

@WalPerMott @IGNDeals @IGN No they aren't. If you have the cash you can purchase property. The important point is that owning property doesn't give you permission to live there

@IGNDeals @IGN Luckily Japan is strict about who they let buy things like this so it likely will not go to a YouTube and become a post modern studio streamer house

Century 21 in Japan is currently listing a 6-story castle in the Hokkaido prefecture for just $64,000 USD. It has the genuine look of an imposing medieval Japanese castle, but according to the listing, it was built in 1991. You can check it out on the Century 21 Japan website.

@Kruzil @IGN This is made by a completely different development team and does not take resources away from the main game. This is absolutely nothing to do with PVE not getting created. And it was never an issue of workforce

Rough for the Los Angeles Kings and Kevin Fiala. I don't get the allure of the Olympics for the NHL. Go back to a Canada Cup, World Cup of Hockey, Whatever You Wanna Call It tournament in August. We are two months out from the playoffs. The NHL puts its season on pause for the Olympics, puts its best players - and most expensive assets - into high intensity games where a major injury seems inevitable. Sure a major injury can happen in August too, but at least the player has 7-8 months to heal prior to the playoffs. Total buzzkill. Friday the 13th energy.

@ArgonneForest @LAKings874 For most players it's on par with the Stanley cup, except they have a much better chance of winning it this year, while also representing their country.
