@MLiebreich Ontario. 12GW nuclear, 5GW wind. Summer peaking grid. Nuclear maintenance outages during fall/spring low demand periods. Runs reliably all out all summer long. Wind absent during summer peak, over production during trough seasons. Amplitude of its intermittency is extreme.

URANIUM IS CANADAS MOST IMPORTANT CLEAN ENERGY EXPORT. We’re now the second largest producer. Canadian uranium used in nuclear reactors all over the world to produce carbon free electricity displaces 260 megatonnes of CO2 per year offsetting fully 1/3 of Canada’s 730 megatonnes of annual emissions.
