@raducrisanx 100%. Start of the season I seriously didn’t think we had a chance of the title, especially given Arsenal and Liverpools recruitment. 3rd and a cup for me would have been more than acceptable.

@StevenMcinerney Does really well what he’s in the team to do which is defend. Sounds simple but it’s so effective. When you see his name on the team sheet it’s a calming feeling. That’s credit to him for how well he’s developed in a short space of time. Top top class.

@Nick_Metcalfe VAR isn’t the problem. It’s those using that’s the problem. Dalot on Doku earlier this season is an example. VAR the technology didn’t say it wasn’t a red card. It was the bumbling idiots in charge that decided it wasn’t a red card.

Football before VAR was dominated by referee gaffes. You lot pleaded for technology. It wasn’t quite the technology you wanted, so you moaned again.
Fewer mistakes are made now.

@StickToCricket Only reason he is in is because he can bat better than Foakes. If the top 6 could be trusted to deliver consistently (which they aren’t), then Foakes would be in. He’s probably the best wicket keeper in the world but gets dropped cos our top 6 don’t deliver consistently.

@Nick_Metcalfe @TalkingSnooker Fantastic news! I get from some of the players point of views about bigger venue, more money etc, but for me the crucible is snooker. The history created over the years, you can’t replace that. You ask any none snooker lover what the crucible is and they’ll say snooker.

The World Snooker Championship is staying at the Crucible.
The tournament will remain in Sheffield until at least 2045.
The event will stay at the Crucible in its current guise until 2028 and then return - after one or two editions elsewhere - to a revamped 1,500 seat arena.

@GolfChannel @eamonlynch It’s on the captain to set the tone, get the pairings right etc. once it’s game time, then yes it’s on the players to perform. To much imo is made of the captain. Look at Medinah. Half a point the other way and Olazabal would be seen as a bad captain which would be bull shit.

Gabriel pulls out of the Brazil squad with a knee injury, joining William Saliba who will not be linking up with France.
Trossard has dropped out of the Belgium squad. Odegaard and Timber also not linking up with their national teams as they work on their fitness over the break. Eze out of the England squad.
