@DavidKHopps Don’t think the comments re subs reflect our experience but the point about clubhouses reflects that most clubs are funded by profits from alcohol. Could be evidence that the way the grass roots game is funded is systematically racist. Not sure it features on the 12 point plan?

First away win of the season for the 1sts last weekend @CrossgatesCC we smashed 204-8 off 35 overs, Ateek 65, 47* @Absabir444 with some huge 6’s, skipper @joelybaby123 a brisk 20 (including a rare 6) & Oz 21. Crossgates close 127-9 off 35 overs, Oz 4-45 off 10 & Bilal 2-14 off 7

Back to back victories for the 2nds beating @headingleycc by 20 runs. Skipper @shaz00786 43, Waqar 66 & Palani 46, Clifton snr 3-25 off 7.5 overs. Headingley batted 40 overs but fell 20 runs short, Vishal 47, Ankit 41 & Clifton snr 39*, Awais 3-51 & Faisal 3-36 both off 10 overs

A lose for the 1sts at the weekend who posted 163-9 @JamesAntonysha2 49* & skipper @joelybaby123 34 put on an 80 run partnership for the 6th wicket when Thorner were 52-5 & in a bit of trouble. @CcHammerton 164-6, win by 4 wickets in the 39th over, Wilson 40, Bilal 3-37 off 11

Great win for the 2nds at home to @CrossgatesCC batting first Thorner were 182 all out off 29 overs, Waqar 56, Palani 42 & @romanmonkey 27. Crossgates all out for 161 off 37.4 overs, a great effort from their number 8 Zaheer who hit 46, Palani 3-20 off 6 overs #SuperSeconds

After a decent start the 1st team were well beaten, Thorner 147 all out, Charles 39 & Greame 23. @sicklinghall_cc made easy work of the total closing on 151 for 2 off 20.1 overs, opener Hatherly 75 off 45 & Williams 33* off 26💥🏏
