You guys seen the post about PSA using new slabs with plastic inserts, possibly to prevent crack-outs and resubs? Well, my PSA order that popped last week has both. Luke #1 obviously a bigger card than Obi-Wan that does not seem to; you can see the film on the backs. Thoughts?

Everything about Social Media posts from ANY card show feels staged and scripted. How does anyone with an ounce of self-respect tolerate it?

i would say the average card collector doesn't have much if any of an online presence

the time of year that you know eBay wins wont arrive until you have already left for the show

@NEOCards_Comics and the Topps folks live in the city for the most part.

Problem is to get the celebrity an athlete attendance pretty much has to be in LA and NYC. NYC is very easy to get in and out of for a massive amount of people compared to LA. Not many places have the venue and infrastructure/support systems to pull this show off.

🚨My hobby hot take🚨 I get the sentiment about seeing a few dealers at The National who are just old guys w/ stacks of junk cards. I've seen them. There's a few there, but not a ton. But it's wise to remember that many of those old guys were in the hobby ages before the hobby blew up to what it is now. Whether we like it or not, they were the ones who kept the hobby going when there was no excitement, no crazy chases, no 1/1's. We stand on their shoulders. They more than deserve a seat at the hobby table.
