Aside from the fact that Vicario is doo doo, it probably isn't wise to give Ausilio two more things to do during an already busy summer.
Chivu can help in the decision-making process by letting Martinez show what he can do the rest of the way.

Inter, l’accordo con Vicario c’è ma su Martinez non è ancora detta l’ultima parola. A bocce ferme ci sarà un altro confronto tra le parti e si deciderà se sarà il caso di investire 20 milioni per un nuovo portiere o se invece proseguire con lo spagnolo titolare. La pista che porterebbe a Vicario, inoltre, comporterebbe anche un investimento per comprare un secondo portiere, visto che Martinez ha fatto sapere di non voler rimanere da secondo. Al momento è tutto aperto.

I'd maybe be a bit surprised if Diooof doesn't start on the right after his positive cameo and given Henrique is out and Dumfries played through an issue midweek. I wouldn't risk Denzel missing the final.

This kid excites me (no Diddy). Selling him to spend even more on Kone would be a mistake IMO. IF Diooof somehow shows that he can be trusted in the midfield, the area is set, even with a couple departures. One less thing for Ausilio to (struggle to) do.
