Three.js with cascaded shadows and the same PBR sky / IBL. No SSAO yet, as it broke everything. Also Three.js only has post process darkening SSAO. Affects the whole image instead of just ambient lighting, which is very old-school. There's no Z-prepass or G-buffer, so it can't support the correct way.

It's nice to load professional made content. My new render pipe (2 months old code base) needs still some work in lighting side, and is missing alpha clip for example. Work in progress. HypeHype was all 100% UGC kitbashed content. Bad art quality was a given.

kept working on the 2.5D smoke thingy, it works by raymarching a 2D fluidsim and achieves interactive framerate on mobile (45-60fps) by reducing some settings. it"s quite limited but allows some cool variations. video captured on a (5 year old) iPhone12 mini. demo soon ™

Fun weekend project: a 3D house builder I wasn't happy with any 3D tools to design my house, so vibe coded something over the weekend using @threejs > upload floorplan > trace walls (for now) > add windows/doors/kitchen/furniture > full 3D view > toggle "view" to see from inside Next up: feeding this into nano-banana to render different styles while keeping geometry intact
