The first time I ever heard about Peter Obi was when I was in secondary school. We had gone for a competition in Kwara state (I think) when some boys from Anambra, very smart boys, were bragging about how they could call the governor, he would pick and respond to their educational requests.
It blew my mind to know that such a governor exists.
Years later, my brother is on a plane and meets a gov carrying his own bags and sitting in economy. Few years later he meets him again, now an ex gov, still a billionaire, carrying his bags, no paparazzi, very simple.
Peter Obi is just being himself. It’s impossible to pretend for this long.

As a governor of Anambra, every senior prefect in the state had a direct contact with Governor Peter Obi. Why? He wanted them to report what was wrong in their schools directly to him, if you call him, he would personally come and check it out. The man’s humility and simplicity is not performative. It’s really somehow that over a decade later he comes out to contest elections in the country and you’re seeing videos of him carrying his bags like he has always done and you’re calling it “performative and theatrics”. He’s not even doing it for you to applaud him. Baba is just being him.

@Thinkinyagami I think being a cinephile ruins your experience when you're watching a series that wasn't written well because you keep overthinking. If they wanted to make an eye-opening series it would have been better for them to be anonymous hackers that stumbled on the minds.

I actually get what you’re saying, but I don’t think the show is really meant to be that kind of suspense-driven series. It feels more like an unfolding or unraveling story that’s focused on exploring the concept of UI and what’s happening beneath the surface in the tech world.
On the data center point, I agree, that part was very obvious, and it was strange they didn’t keep proper tabs on them, especially since they were basically the top suspects after leaving with the source code. That part did feel a bit off.

@Thinkinyagami A company that's able to clean themselves off the map should be able to keep tabs on their enemy through satellite images. Or even kill them at the beginning of the series because from the moment they played that stunt with them in the office with the mind that was a trader
