@Udoh_D Dear Udoh, I hope this meets you well. I was curious to read your lines when the algol threw it at me, but then I developed some pains in my stomach so, of all the problems facing you as an individual and the nation at large, PO not appearing on the ballot is your biggest?

There’s no niceness in politics. What Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso are doing against the African Democratic Congress is outright sabotage of the coalition’s purpose. The ADC should act decisively by backing the ongoing legal challenge against the registration of the NDC by INEC, since it emerged through a Federal High Court order and did not comply with the Commission’s strict administrative procedures. Peter Obi should not be allowed on the ballot in 2027.

Blord is in Kuje Correctional Centre today, 26 days, he’ll be spending Easter behind bars. And before anyone comes to defend him, let me say this clearly: I don’t feel sorry for him. Honestly not because of VDM, VDM is a whole other conversation, but because Blord did something no serious businessman should ever do, he let ego write a cheque his integrity couldn’t cash. This man allegedly fabricated flight tickets in VDM’s name, falsely claimed a N500 million endorsement deal that never happened, used someone else’s identity to market his apps and products. You’re a crypto billionaire, you have containers arriving, your businesses are running, and you chose forgery? That’s not a legal problem it’s a character problem. When the drama started, Blord didn’t address VDM’s complaints about his customer service, he mocked the man’s financial status instead, told people to make money so they don’t end up a “nuisance”, thought wealth was armor. It wasn’t. The most dangerous thing about Blord’s kind of success is how it breeds contempt for accountability, when you’re rich in Nigeria, you start to believe the rules are for smaller people, you don’t fix your customer service, you attack the customer, you don’t manage your brand, you forge documents, you don’t take legal exposure seriously, because who will touch you? VDM touched him. The same man shading critics while his containers docked is now spending Easter in Kuje, same man who called people nuisances for being broke is currently the most famous resident of a correctional facility. I’ve said it before: in business, your biggest liability is never your competition, it’s your own carelessness, Blord had every resource to handle this quietly, professionally, legally, he chose drama instead. That’s not billionaire behavior abeg. That’s ego with a FIRS registration number.

@Akintola_steve Some four years ago, I made the decision to quit my position at my employment and rather channel all my knowing into a product of my own. That's the story of Thriftplus, a vertical fintec SaaS.

Could there be any valid reason this was done? Maybe. But honestly, I think we’ve reached that phase as engineers where the focus should be on shipping and building. We already have everything at our disposal to build, market, and earn from our work. The tech space isn’t as forgiving as it used to be.

Best backend stack for a Nigerian dev building their first SaaS right now: – Node.js + Express (you already know it) – Supabase (database + auth in one, free tier is generous) – @pxxl_space(free deployment, no CORS nightmare) – Paystack (not Stripe — your users have Nigerian cards) – Sentry (catch bugs before your users report them) You can build something real with this in a weekend. No excuses ooo What are you building?

@MgbemeneCC @jon_d_doe what truth is he spilling? a girl, 18, will be sleeping with men 35+, and ignoring all his mates. After the years have past, and baggages have accumulated, you now want to settle down with the same people you rejected when you were "hot" ogun kée yoou

For most 35+ single men that want to marry below 25s women, this is what they do. Save up a couple of millions, use it to entice the young women. Make them think that there is plenty somewhere. Then marry them quickly, & start having children in rapid succession. Then they relax & start showing their true color. Money no dey flow again like before. And they would start to force their wives to work and bring money too. Otherwise, hunger go catch them. That is when you'd see that your sister that thought that she married an "odogwu" calling you to beg for money. 10 years later, she'll start to have Grey hairs in her 30s, & wrinkles below her eyes. Then her husband would be doing: "I am the man, if I can't provide, can't she provide?" "Does she want me to die?" "Are there no women that are also providing for their homes?" Most of you can relate to what I have said here. If not you directly, you know at least one married woman that is experiencing this. She could either be your friend, cousin, sister, colleague or neighbor. Except you want to lie to yourselves. End.

Today, hundreds of people will gather in a hall in Southeast Nigeria to watch children solve mathematics problems. If you think deeply about it, it is something much bigger. For decades, we have trained Nigerian children to fear mathematics. To avoid it. To see it as punishment. To believe brilliance belongs somewhere else in Europe, America or Asia. Meanwhile the same children can memorize entire lyrics of songs, football statistics, or complex video game strategies. The problem was never intelligence. The problem was belief. When a society stops celebrating intelligence, its brightest children begin to hide. Tomorrow, young students from different South Eastern states will sit behind computers and compete with their minds. And somewhere among those children is a mind that could one day design new technology, discover a cure, build the next generation of African innovation, or solve problems we cannot even imagine yet. But here is the uncomfortable truth. Countries that dominate the future do not do it because they have more natural resources. They do it because they take the intelligence of their children seriously. China understands this. Singapore understands this. South Korea understands this. The children solving equations tomorrow are not just competing. They are quietly answering a bigger question for our society: Are we ready to respect intelligence again? Or will we continue celebrating noise while brilliance sits silently in classrooms? Today we will see something powerful. Not just mathematics. But the raw, unfiltered brilliance of the African mind. And if we nurture it properly, the future will look very different.

8 months ago I started writing a book. Not because I thought I was some expert but because I was tired. Tired of the same DM every morning. “Tobi how do I start?” “What app do I use?” “Is NGX not a scam?” “I’m Muslim can I even do this thing?” Tired of watching people around me earn good money and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Because I used to be that person. Money would enter my account and vanish like someone was doing me jazz. So I wrote the thing. Everything. How to budget when your rent alone is eating half your salary. How the Nigerian and US stock markets actually work because nobody explains them properly. The NGX broken down in full detail. How to read a company’s financial statements. Fundamental analysis. Technical analysis. How to read price charts. All explained so that anyone can understand it even if you’ve never bought a single stock before. How to buy American stocks from your phone in Nigeria. Which stocks on NGX are actually worth looking at and which ones will trap your money for months. How to invest as a Muslim without compromising your faith. Bonds. ETFs. Index funds. Real estate prices in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan with real numbers not vibes. Crypto without the YouTube hype. How to stop panicking and selling when the market dips. 87 pages. 18 chapters. I didn’t pad it with motivational quotes and stories. It’s just the information. ₦5,000. That’s the launch price. I wanted to make it affordable enough that nobody has an excuse not to read it. The price will go up soon but right now it’s ₦5,000. Link: selfany.com/themoneymanual Link is in my bio. If you buy it and it changes something for you just tell one person about it. That’s it.

@LBGamestips Running out of missiles isn't the question right now, having trained men to fire the machines is the issue With the current devastations, in human and materials happening in Iran, do you think they will still have bodies to operate these pieces of machines over time

It seems some of you have forgotten what happened in 1980 So in September 1980, Iraq invaded Iran over land dispute, but mainly because of power with the help of the United States of America. Cause at the time, Iran was the main power in the Persian gulf. The war went on for 8 years, Iran gave Iraq a bloody nose the UN had to intervene and brokered a ceasefire between both countries. Note, Iraq had support from the United States and allies from 1980 - 1988 Now, Do you honestly think that same Iran has ran out of missiles and launchers in 4 days?🤣 Tell me another joke

Bro, AWS just laid off 16k people in January. Block laid off 40% of their staff this month. Getting a good tech job right now is genuinely hard. Not 'work harder' hard, but structurally hard. People are depressed, and families are stressed. So if you're struggling right now, you're not weak. The market is just brutal. Rooting for everyone in it 🙏

BREAKING 🔴 Iran reportedly presented a proposal to the United States during a second round of nuclear talks in Geneva, offering to pause uranium enrichment for three years and pledge not to use its ballistic missiles against Israel. U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff rejected the proposal as wholly insufficient and declined to negotiate further.
