@rkidderreads So often how we learn the importance of sewing details. I thought zips were over-rated as a teen so used to see myself into trousers. Learnt the hard way on a pub crawl why I need to master the zip! 😂

@Thriftystitcher I made a really pretty natural linen jean jacket with hand embroidery all over it. It fits perfectly and is one of my better makes, but the pattern didn’t have sleeve plackets so I hate it and never wear it. I Didn’t realize how important they are until after!
