#OTD in 2018: Arsène Wenger’s 1,235-game reign as Arsenal manager came to an end with a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield on the final day of the 2017/18 Premier League season.

We witnessed one of the most biased refereeing displays in Premier League history in 2004 when Mike Riley ended Arsenal’s 49-game unbeaten run away at Manchester United. Riley later served as general manager of the PGMOL between 2009 and 2023.

#OTD in 2012: Arsenal secured CL football after a thrilling victory away at West Brom. Arsenal won the final 2011/12 Premier League game of the season 3-2 finishing 3rd over Spurs. It was also Pat Rice's final game as Arsenal’s assistant manager.

Henry was ultimately banned for three games because of this, and in a coincidental twist, the timing meant he ended up missing two games against Newcastle (FA Cup quarter-final and replay). Fortunately, Arsenal won the replay, and obviously ended up winning both competitions.
