Good times with the good people of the Pipeline Subcommittee. Many thanks to @AANmember, our leader @RanaSaidMD and all of the members with whom I had the pleasure to work. Until next time!

Who do you know that teaches EEG, peds EMG, or EMG in a creative and engaging way? I'm directing a neurophys course at the 2025 @AANmember annual meeting, and I'm looking for speakers. Please share, and DM me with suggestions. Junior faculty and self-nominations welcome!

Ok #twitterhistorians, my 12 yo is reading Salt, and he's obsessed. He can't talk about anything other than the importance of salt in world history. It's the best. What other quasi-appropriate-for-age microhistories should I give him?

@MichaelOkun @basbloem Actually there is one study on use of parachutes showing there was no significant difference in death or major traumatic injury between groups: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30545967/ a tongue-in-cheek article demonstrating the importance of looking at methodology and not just the results.

There is not a randomized trial showing that parachutes work. ⁦@basbloem⁩ asks whether you would like to be assigned to the control group? #parkinson

Perils of conferencing from home -- being late for the first session because you wanted to cook breakfast for the kids.

Did you know that ancient ayurvedic medical texts have descriptions of parkinsonism that predate James Parkinson? My students (who are forever teaching me) made me aware of "kampavata" and I found this great reference. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23483637/

Reminder for @TheNRMP #Match2025 Adult Neurology Applicants: Many programs are participating in Signaling. This year it is up to 8 nontiered signals per applicant. For those particularly interested in the @WashUNeurology program, consider utilizing a signal to express that.
