Kinda torn by this.
I feel like you 100% need to be able to track enemy interrupts in PvP.
If you can't track kicks then that's just a passive nerf to casters/healers.
I also think tracking enemy defensives is a key part of what has defined competitive arena for 10+ years.
Knowing how to select the best target and carving out win conditions by knowing who doesn't have a defensive is part of intelligent play that should be rewarded.
I don't think we should reward messy PvP.
At the top end games will just be longer and harder to win.
Not to sound like an elitist, I'd say 95%+ players aren't ACTUALLY tracking defensives anyway, so this change will not effect them. It only nerfs smart players.
With that said I would be totally fine with Blizzard removing the ability to track OFFENSIVE cooldowns.
This is where a lot of the mindlessness of PvP has occurred over the years. We've all been trained like dogs to plan and react to enemy offensives.

From an interview with Ion regarding addons, seems like they’re going to tone down the strength of cooldown/ability tracking, this excites me. Not a fan of perfect play and execution via cooldown tracking and audio weak auras. It’s optimized some of the fun out of the game.
