SwimRun day in Borås Surprised to meet Martin Flinta and his son Simon (named after @simonwhitfield 🥇🇨🇦) They crushed the Sprint race today. Martin was one of the original Swedish Doodes, I met in NZ many years ago. Simon and Axel eyed each other warily at the start... Navigation error made for a Character Building Day for Team FeelTheByrn. Don't think we will have any issue with the longer race on Utö in two weeks. We were out there a while, today Only 1500m of swimming but ✅shoes on ✅kid tethered to you ✅paddles If you are the stronger swimmer then towel drags, open water and lots of big paddle pull sets I'd smash the swims then hang on to Ax for the runs. He had me on the ropes for the final hour. He ran through the finish line so strongly, I got gapped and Rufus Colting (nearly 4 yo) got bowled over trying to hand him a finisher's medal Stunning course through the lakes, forests and trails of Borås Met a local with an @otillorace tattoo (see pic) - something different from an M-Dot. Ax said I should get one... Colting still going after three days - he says there's an emotional crash coming once the last competitor crosses the line. The entire community works hard to put on this weekend. 🙏🇸🇪
