I was right when I said BAFTA and BBC set up John, Delroy and Michael to be embarrassed and hurt, because putting a mic directly in front of John 40 ROWS BACK from the stage was a deliberate choice to record his Corprolalia vocal tics. They broke and violated his trust.

i read last night that in some cases apologising can intensify Coprolalia bc of interaction w shame & shame is a trigger. i saw a post about being in mutual care work. when apology harms the speaker then we look at other ways to address harm received.

I absolutely have sympathy for people who struggle with disabilities. But if you use a wheelchair and accidentally run over someone’s foot you instantly apologize The lack of any apology whatsoever from him — after hurting so many people— sets his own cause back. BBC failed too.
