One of the toughest things about teaching is that your students leave to do great things and too often we don’t get to see their achievements. So, how lucky am I that I get to see my former student the great ⁦⁦@MsALESSANDR0⁩ in action ⁦@CentralSchoolEB⁩ everyday!

Instruction ⁦@EBPublicSchools⁩ is outstanding for many reasons. One is because of all of the support that we give our first year teachers. Here is one of Central’s great teachers, Mrs. Cagnina, leading an ⁦@EBProfLearn⁩ after school session on engagement.

⁦@CentralSchoolEB⁩ sometimes great instruction involves technology. Sometimes it’s simply a dry erase board. What I love is when both are happening in the same lesson. Outstanding work by Ms. Petro and her 4th grade students!

I cannot wait to join the incredibly talented @CentralSchoolEB team. What an honor! I might need a raft and a paddle to get there but I will see you soon.

Nothing like seeing kids running outside at school and being kids. Here they are with the outstanding HMS Phys Ed team playing Foot Golf on the 9 hole course designed by the teachers. They even have a driving range! Great stuff happening at HMS. @GaskellMgaskell @EBPublicSchools

A great night for ⁦@EBSocialStudies⁩ as we inducted 75 ⁦@EBPublicSchools⁩ students into our Rho Kappa. Special thanks to our advisors Ms. Cunkelman and Ms. Hannah and our Executive Board.

Our IPLE I students at Town Hall today competing as part of the Urban Plan initiative. Great to have the support of our mayor and members of the town council. What a tremendous experience for the ⁦@EBSocialStudies⁩ dept. at ⁦@EBPublicSchools⁩

Much thanks to @xlachs and the #UrbanPlan team for their work today with our IPLE students. This hands-on approach to learning about local politics and economics is ideal. Mr. Mondry’s students are very well prepared to compete at Town Hall on Tuesday.@EBPublicSchools

So proud of my former student ⁦@MsALESSANDR0⁩ who did a wonderful lesson where she turned it completely over to the kids. We learned so much about Lenape family life today and more vitally built on an imperative skill. ⁦@CentralSchoolEB⁩

I couldn’t be prouder of this outstanding group of students, their coach Mr. Mondry and teacher Mr. Brodman. It was my honor to cheer them on today.

Our AP IPLE team is off and running at the State Competition. What a great representation of ⁦@EBPublicSchools⁩ and ⁦@EBSocialStudies⁩

Preparing his students for starting Hero of the Empire by ⁦@candice_millard,⁩ Mr. Pawlowski leads his ⁦@EBCJHS⁩ students on an in school field trip to the main office so that they can read why we are Churchill Junior High. A simple but great idea.

Much thanks to the ⁦@EBEFoundation⁩ for supporting ⁦@EBCJHS⁩ Mr. Woerner’s Catan mini-unit. It has been a major success. A great way for students to learn about markets. Another great day in ⁦@EBSocialStudies⁩.

⁦@EBSocialStudies⁩ teachers working in a dept. meeting on applying their new Canvas skills by developing a lesson and then observing, virtually and in person, each colleague do the lesson. A great ⁦@EBProfLearn⁩ opportunity.

Congratulations to Mr. Brodman who has been named the EBHS Teacher of the Year! Alan is incredibly well deserving and a great representation of ⁦@EBSocialStudies⁩ and ⁦@EBPublicSchools⁩.
