The biggest fallacy moving forward is assuming past performance will predict future results. We’ve never had a stock market so heavily influenced by social media, AI and other unprecedented factors. Looking at historical data and quoting those numbers gives me zero confidence that upcoming 10, 20 and 30 year returns will replicate what came before.

The market returns 10-11% (before inflation) on average over every 20+ year period. But the odds of the market actually returning 10-11% any given year is EXTREMELY low. Most times the market won't look like this Year 1: +11% Year 2: +11% Year 3: +11% …and so on.. to get an average return of 11% Instead it might look like this: Year 1: +45% Year 2: -39% Year 3: +27% and so on.. to get an average of 11% returns.

O António tem toda a razão. A confirmar-se a situação descrita, a direção da escola deveria pedir desculpa, demitir-se ou sair do sistema de contratos de associação. Podem ter toda a razão do mundo em relação ao comportamento do estado, mas há linhas que não se passam com crianças. Educadores, mais do que ninguém, deveriam perceber isso.

Um recluso condenado por crimes graves declarou identificar-se como mulher. A partir desse momento, passou a ser tratado pelo sistema prisional como Raquel, uma reclusa. 👉🏻Primeiro esteve no Estabelecimento Prisional de Santa Cruz do Bispo. A experiência não correu bem. Houve agressões a uma companheira de cela e a guardas prisionais — violência física contra mulheres. A solução encontrada foi transferi-lo para outro estabelecimento. 👉🏻O destino foi o Estabelecimento Prisional de Tires. Nessa cadeia existe uma zona chamada “Casa das Mães”. É uma ala específica onde ficam reclusas que vivem com bebés e crianças pequenas. Um espaço que existe por uma razão muito simples: proteger mães e filhos num ambiente prisional que, por definição, nunca é um lugar fácil. ❌Foi precisamente aí que o recluso violento foi colocado. Convém repetir: um homem biologicamente masculino, com cromossomas XY, com histórico recente de conflitos e agressões já dentro da própria prisão, acabou instalado numa ala de mulheres com bebés. A experiência, previsivelmente, também não correu bem. ❌Pouco tempo depois, o recluso incendiou o colchão da própria cela. O fogo gerou uma situação de emergência dentro da prisão. Cinco guardas prisionais tiveram de receber assistência hospitalar por inalação de fumo. Imaginem que a tragédia tinha recaído sobre um bebé. 📣📣📣Só este caso já merecia celebrar o 8 de Março, para que nos relembremos do sentido da data: a Mulher. 👉🏻Durante décadas, as mulheres lutaram por espaços protegidos. Prisões femininas, balneários separados, abrigos para vítimas de violência.
