@TiborCitadel Exactly. Аbout other coin’s success too.
Honestly, Litecoin fans - meaning us - should be focusing first and foremost on our own ecosystem and its development, instead of constantly pointing at others and looking over our shoulders at the more “fashionable” projects.

this is huge actually. *this* is the stuff we want to see from the Ethereum Foundation!!!

0/ Clear signing is now live. An open standard to end blind signing, making human-readable transactions default. This effort brings a major UX and Security upgrade to transaction signing on Ethereum.
English

@Trezor @ethereumfndn Finally.
I hope it will spread like a wildfire.
English

Blind signing has contributed to billions of dollars in losses across the ecosystem.
Every transaction you sign should clearly show who you're interacting with, what you're authorizing, and on what terms.
At Trezor, we are committed to security and transparency, and we will be implementing Ethereum Foundation's Clear Signing open standard across all our products over the coming months.
Security shouldn’t require technical expertise.

i think we also need to improve branding and alignment towards AI and Agentic payments on LitVM.
+we need AAVE + Circle USDC native onboard as early as possible.
English

Genuine question from someone who’s strongly bullish on LTC and really wants LitVM to succeed.
Tagging @circle_crypto - this feels worth discussing.
LiteForge has been live for a month now. What we’re mostly seeing is the usual EVM playbook: DEXs, prediction markets, NFT marketplaces and other DeFi stuff - the same stack being built on every other chain.
That’s easy traction, but it doesn’t really play to what makes @litecoin unique.
Litecoin’s real strength has always been fast, cheap and reliable settlement, with MimbleWimble privacy available when needed. That combination ought to be especially powerful for payments, remittances and certain B2B use cases. Yet nobody has really made a serious attempt to build for that niche at scale.
At the moment, @LitecoinVM seems to be competing head-on with Arbitrum, Base and Solana, rather than carving out a distinct position around LTC’s core strengths.
So the real question is: do we have a deliberate strategy to attract builders focused on payments and settlement infrastructure, or are we mostly hoping the right teams turn up organically?
I genuinely want this to work.

Finland's President Stubb argued: "Yes, it is time to start negotiations with Russia."
* I would like to know why it was not considered a good time to speak with Russia four years ago. Our political class boycotted diplomacy for all these years while hundreds of thousands of young men died, and put us on a path toward nuclear war that we are still on. Anyone who argued for diplomacy was smeared and censored by our radicalised political-media establishment. So why was it considered immoral to speak with the other side then, but not now?

Most LTC roundups today will lead with the SegWit-8-year flashback. We're leading with what actually shipped: a navigable "Litecoin City" with a Canary Capital Building inside it, the first public confirmation LiteForge runs on Caldera, and Aztec pitching funds in Vegas. 7 items, all sourced. ↓

I really enjoyed this conversation with @MattKibbe, we talk about the Surveillace Accountability Act, and how the 4th Amendment has disappeared in the digital age.

@eurofounder Dear Matthias,
She was probably just on her period and overreacting. This is always what I assume when my wife says something.
All the best,
Wolfgang
English

My wife had a terrible allergic reaction today
Her face was swelling, she could barely breathe
“Can you go to a pharmacy for me?” she asked
I firmly shook my head
“No, it’s Sunday. It’s a mandatory rest day”
She asked me to drive to the one open 24/7
“Gasoline is expensive these days, not to mention how bad driving is for climate” I said
She tried to call an Uber but I took the phone from her hands
“Stop it. Using unregulated rideshares undermines the German taxi industry”
She left the apartment and took the bus
Great choice - European public transport is absolutely fantastic
This is how Sunday should look like on a civilized continent
