I just wanna get a lot off my chest real quick. Its a long read if you care. The past 2 years were hell for me. Quite literally just awful. I had to adjust my business model and everything. I had to cancel shoots, step back from being super active, and more. In that time I still maintained my sales. It was hard. I became depressed, gained weight, and had to fight hard for family. Even though me and my fiance were blessed we did endure a miscarriage and that never leaves you. She needed me more than anything and then we got slapped with epilepsy on my son. It was hell. Then she got pregnant and it was a nightmare. Fear of the same happening and then the baby KEPT having moments of almost coming MONTHS early. We never had a chance to breath. Then we have our blessing enter the world huge and healthy. Things got a little bit better and then a tree slammed into my house. We sued the landlord and kept going through life, then he sold the house without saying anything giving me 90 days to find somewhere to live with a full family and no warning. That was 2024 and 2025 and thats a summary. In between then I had a producer I called family do absolutely monstrous things. I had to not only cut ties but help models get away from him and warn others. It was horrible. That same producer then started trying to recruit every model I knew and even my friends off my personal pages. It was disgusting. Feb of this year was the first time I FINALLY felt FREE. I started therapy, I rebuilt a LOT of what I lost in The Tickle Room and I am catching up to years of work lost. What did I learn in all that? This industry can be a blessing. It can be a place where you feel loved and welcome. When we lost the baby we had people come in MASS to support us. Flowers, dms, even donations. But honestly? Most of it was from die hard fans. The biggest things I have dealt with in this industry is: - Bullying. - Lies - Rumors - Attacked for having an opinion as a male creator - Attacked for being to kind/friendly. I am tired. I have watched people tell me "oh this producer is a fucking asshole and a monster. I hated him" and then they work with them 8 times in a month. I have watched producers see a model do awful raceplay or hurt clients physically to the point of trauma but then book them and go "it is what it is". I am writing all this because a lot of people ask me if being a producer is worth it? Why dont I go to fetcon? Or shoot with major talent more? Thats why. A lot of you have no idea the shit I have endured with people in this industry. But after 2 years of hell, my best advice is this. This is a job and a business. Treat it that way but dont lose you. I stopped being nice because a model ripped me apart for it, I stopped caring because I did and a model praised me only to shit on me the moment she didnt like me saying I couldnt hang out with her, and I stopped booking often because I became afraid. But I am not letting that anxiety rule me anymore. I am not letting awful people dictate how I feel. I have been doing this for 15 fucking years and I have KILLED it for that long. My sales and bottom dollar always show that. So to all my supporters thank you. To my haters? Do better. Find a hobby. I went through 2 years of hell and realized, this industry is not worth my stress because when I turn my phone off, none of the assholes even exist. For the models and producers who know I love them, I cant wait to see you all a LOT more often this year. Thank god I found real love with @TickleRoomKim
