Another day of being mistaken for anything other than the medical doctor I am. A nurse today thought I was one of her LPN and then proceeded to ask me why I was wearing “that.” Come to find out the LPN is a MALE and they have specific attire. So why did she think I was them??

@PA_Stressed_ Congratulations on your achievement. Your dad asked how important it was for you. If he is not in medicine, he may have no clue what a big deal it is. It is up to you to educate him and he seems to have asked to be educated. You are the one who told him it is not important.

Just told my dad the date of my white coat ceremony this summer and he asked how important it is for him to attend because he wants to save up his PTO. Like no worries it’s not important dad, I’ll just be the only person without any family there. Totally fine🙃
