Fun fact about the Golden Saucer date in FF7. No matter who you go on a “date” with Cloud will always be looking at Tifa. In this example he chose Red.

@aerithberry First was FFVII, favourite is FFVIII. Played every game since and FFVIIRs and FFXVI are right behind VIII.

@_SpyDtroid_ I honestly don't get the memory loss/orphanage reveal hate. My kids are now in their teens and have forgotten the other kids they hung out with all day every day when they were 4 and they have no GFs to blame it on 😂.

The twists in Final Fantasy 8 are mindbreaking right now. Everyone grew up together, including Squall and Seifer. Ellone is Squall’s “sis”, The orphanage caretaker was the sorceress all along and the constant use of GF’s erase their memories… What the fuck man…

She defended Shinra employees because not everyone who works at Shinra is evil, plus she just doesn't believe in killing people. Also the filters did work ? it was only a single filter that didn't work but she still needed the money to pay Cloud. Either way the weapons seller obviously forgave her since Cloud was a merc protecting the slums. Tifa and Aerith haters are both weird. You try to take little scenarios out of context to try and come to a conclusion that there's something wrong with one and that the other is better. Ik this post specifically said no hate but I just wanted to say this generally. Both of them are good people, nobody in the group is really a bad person except for Cid in og, and you can argue Cait Sith (Reeve) but not everything is black and white and there's some nuance to his character that shows he has a moral even if he makes bad decisions. Anyway kinda ranted here a bit, I just really don't like how the fandom of my favorite game is, a lot of losers arguing over who should be with Cloud even though 99% of the time we see Cloud he's clearly not mentally capable of being in a relationship

@acursedhalo Me too. I like him. My only gripe in Rebirth was that he kept speaking suddenly and loudly through my controller that he would wake the sleeping baby and I only got a chance to play because the baby was sleeping 😂 So I know without that I would have liked him just fine.

Prediction: To maximise exposure, I think SE will drop a name reveal teaser for FF7R part 3 at State of Play and share a longer trailer at Summer Games Fest. This will capitalise on generated hype to get people to tune into SGF, where the multi platform release of FF7 Rebirth will be showcased.
