This is sad news, indeed....Mike was a friend and outstanding broadcaster.
In college, I was a stage manager for so many of his JP/Raycom broadcasts at Clemson and Ga. Tech. We shared so many laughs, good times and great games.
He was a wonderful person...and he'll be missed.

@Brett_McMurphy @ActionNetworkHQ @RossDellenger A lot of limited thinking here of only “SEC or B1G for these schools.” Maybe it’s to implode ACC for reason to be able to have a new, but very similar, conference that could then negotiate a TV deal. One that may be able to work with NBC as a group that is “affiliated” with ND.
