WADE UPDATE‼️🍐 Wade to LSU is a done deal…It was contingent on NCST tournament run. LSU hired Rousse, Mallett, and of course Landry is on board. This was all to get Wade. This is a Lane Kiffin situation all over. NCST knows he’s leaving they are not going to fire him like ole Miss and lane back in December. Wade is going to “work” for NCST until the end of the month and take all the players he’s recruiting to NCST now to LSU. LSU learned from the Kiffin situation to not let it get as public and are doing a better job of keeping things quiet. Like Wade not saying anything.. @LSUBasketball @PackMensBball 🐺🍐🐅

My gut says this is smoke for Wade to get a better situation here at State, but who knows. McMahon not being confirmed to be back for LSU next year by now is concerning and shows they’re still contemplating what to do and probably waiting on Wade’s answer.

That’ll complete the nastiest final 6 weeks of an NC State team I can remember. Never seen a worse shit storm of things happen every single game. Would not surprised to see Wade keep 1, maybe 2 guys. Effort was the worst I can remember. Never wanna talk abt this season/team again

Love to see this. Looks like LSU finally has someone leading us in the right direction. With LSUNO coming on board soon, I would expect the acceptance rate at LSU to drop significantly and use LSUNO as a feeder school for students who need a year or two to prove that college or a big campus is right for them. This should make every LSU alumnus proud to be a Tiger.

🚨 HOT TAKE 🚨 Let me know y’all’s opinion in the comments. Not many @ByPiperHutch articles come across my timeline that I agree with, and this is probably the first one. I feel like this should’ve been the standard. When revenue sharing was first introduced, if a public university or a proxy of that university is paying their athletes from a chunk of athletic department revenue, all of these rev-share NIL contracts should be public. And to all the people who think this will put LSU at a disadvantage, I’ll stop you there. More than likely, this will quickly move past the state level and become the standard for all NCAA revenue sharing. I know this is controversial, but to take it one step further, I would love to see an app that displays every school’s revenue-sharing contracts and shows exactly what each player makes via rev share.
