The fact that Adelaide supported Walker and rewarded him with a new contract while ignoring, punishing and ultimately forcing Eddie Betts out of the club speaks volumes. Thankfully Blues gave Eddie the chance to finish his career on a positive note. #EddieBetts

@Peter_Fitz Nowhere for me. Every formal gathering to remember I’ve been to has been full of people pretending to care who didn’t give a rats when the person was alive. And that goes for religious and non-religious. I’ll skip that mess even when I’m gone.

@ShaneSammy1 @Tigers_of_Old Macca’s previous two games (before being sub) were not good at all. 6 and 7 possessions and was on the ground for most of those games. Needs a spell in VFL. Pickett plays everywhere and fills gaps. I understand he can be prone to a few errors but gives us a hardness others don’t.

Had a sense of changing of the guard tonight. Premiership stalwarts Dyl & Kam have been champions of the RFC & for a long time would have been among the first picked. However as we enter a new era, younger players are rightly being afforded opportunities to improve. Right call.🐯

This won't win me any friends. However, I propose that local councils be abolished. Councils are purely administrative. Councilors are wannabe politicians who aspire to positions of power but are too inept to make it in federal or state politics. Banning books? I rest my case.

They are desperate to help the team Some are just hanging on to their careers. Others want to get better. Easy for us to say just put them out to pasture for the year. Much harder in reality.
