This is true actually! Ppl mistake 4:3 for being a cropped version of 16:9, but in reality true 4:3 is just 16:9 with more vertical hight, I was surprised to find Nixxes's port of Spiderman Remastered actually supports true 4:3 when I was testing it on my CRT monitor
