Arsenal’s trophy parade will stretch the City of London’s resources to the limit. I’d suggest they declare a public holiday on whatever day that is. A proper London club winning the league for the first time in 22 years will shake the foundations of the city to its barest bones.

There were a huge number of empty seats at the stadium tonight and it’s hardly surprising. We asked the club to open ticket exchange despite it not being sold out, so that people could buy the cheaper tickets and season ticket holders could sell if necessary.
We told the Club not to make Newcastle a Category A game and will press these points again at the ticketing meeting this week.
