@JoelFishEcology 15 m viz! So jealous! I had 2 m in Akaroa Harbour near Christchurch on the weekend. And very chilly! (Air temp 15 deg C).

@JoelFishEcology How was it? Little Beach is such a great place to snorkel. I've seen several blue-lined occies around the small wharf in the photo. In previous years many White's seahorses. There's a resident blue groper under the end of the large pier, and lots of wobbegongs.

Super proud marine biologist dad moment, 4 year old’s first snorkel and 7 year old snorkeling independently at one of the best shore dives in Australia, Fly Point, Port Stephens. Both did amazing, lots of fish 15m vis!
