Long post coming… Took a night to reflect on it and still doesn’t feel right making this post. Our season ended last night in Fox Creek. We fell short of our ultimate goal this season, but I couldn’t be prouder of this group of young men. Last year we wanted to show the state we belonged up there with the best. We talked in the summer about how it still felt like we weren’t getting any respect. Our mantra was that we were #OnTheHunt for the respect and everything else that was ours. We also talked about how we could have been complacent with making history but we wanted to leave a legacy. I still believe this group did that. To my seniors, thank you for everything these past two years. You gave everything we could have asked of you. Proud isn’t even the right word. Go be great. You know I’m still riding with you until the wheels fall off. To my young bucks…Your turn next. Let’s use this for motivation and get back in the lab. 💪 Lastly. I’ll put this group of 10 seniors up against any other class in history. The numbers don’t lie: •First ever Lower State Game appearance •25 wins this year. Most in school history. •Clinched a third straight region title. •20-0 in region play over the past two years. •43-13 overall. •Three all state selections this year. Most in school history. •5 All Region selections.
