We’re delivering easier access to health services and reducing waiting times for Queenslanders.

Since Surgery Connect began, more than 35,000 additional procedures have already been delivered. On average, around 100 Queenslanders every day are now receiving surgery sooner, and the elective surgery waitlist is down 8,136 from Labor’s peak.

We’ve delivered a new CT scanner service for Charters Towers.  Now local residents can access advanced diagnostic imaging locally, reducing travel and ensuring they receive care sooner in the comfort of their own community. @DaleLast1

The Crisafulli Government’s fully-funded Hospital Rescue Plan is delivering 3 new hospitals and expanding 10 more across the state, providing more than 2,600 additional beds for Queenslanders and world class healthcare closer to home.

Our $35.5 billion Health Budget is strengthening the foundations for a fresh start for building Queensland’s Future. Labor failed to build the health infrastructure to keep up with growing demand.

This Budget is about strengthening Queensland’s health system now and for the future, so Queenslanders can have confidence the care they need will be there when they need it.

As part of the fully-funded Hospital Rescue Plan, the Crisafulli Government is delivering new hospitals in Toowoomba, Coomera and Bundaberg, the Queensland Cancer Plan and expanding 10 more hospitals across the state, providing more than 2,600 additional beds for Queenslanders.

Queenslanders asked, and we’ve listened. Our rural and regional Queenslanders should have access to healthcare that doesn't break the bank. That's why this year's Budget will deliver a 32% increase to the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme to help ease the rising cost of fuel.
