I'm honoured to have been asked by the Premier to serve as her Cabinet Secretary, to support her and the Victorian Government in implementing policies that care for all Victorians. We know only Labor Government's do the work to support our state - through policies like growing our housing supply, improving access to quality education, supporting families with the cost of living and making sure Victorians have access to the healthcare they need. All this work is delivered through our talented Cabinet team, and I am excited to work closely with my colleagues to continue this work. I would also like to take the time to say a huge thank you to all the teams I have worked with in my previous roles as Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier, for Men's Behaviour Change, Health and Wellbeing, and Violence Reduction. It has been an honour working with so many different people who are so passionate about this space. In particular, I would like to thank my Parliamentary colleagues, the Premier, Mary-Anne Thomas, Ingrid Stitt, Sonya Kilkenny and many more, and all the fantastic organisations I have met with. Your work is invaluable, and your dedication is noticed and greatly appreciated. I'm excited to support our wonderful Premier Jacinta Allan and keep on working to deliver for Victorians. 🙌

It is magnificent to see this delivered for our patch! Thank you to the workers who have given it their all over this three week construction blitz. STATION STREET IS BACK OPEN! 🚗 🚙 That’s right, the new intersection of Pine Crescent, with Station Street and Nepean Highway in Aspendale is here! 🚦 This is an incredible moment for our community with the level crossing removed at Station Street, providing a safer connection for Aspendale, Edithvale and Chelsea residents. 🚙 🏍️ 🚲 🏃‍♀️ I wanted to thank you all for your patience during this time. It has been really tough over the previous two and a half weeks, but we are finally here. 🤗 To all the workers who have made this possible, through heavy rain, winds, sun and all night works, we are so grateful and thankful for your efforts. 🙌

A wonderful start to Mother’s Day, commencing major construction works of the new maternity unit here at Monash Medical Centre. 🏗️ 🏥 🥰 It is all part of the $535 million upgrades to this incredible health precinct, which will include a new seven storey tower along with: 👩‍⚕️ new operating theatres 🏥 an intensive care unit 👶 expanded maternity services It is yet another way the Allan Labor Government is investing in our nurses, midwives, doctors and healthcare workers. ❤️

Traffic update from Aspendale’s Station Street and the train station this Friday morning. 🌅 The Aspendale train station crossing will be the only connection point for Aspendale residents over the next 20 days, with new Mordialloc Station opening on May 21. We will see significant disruptions as works ramp up to remove the Station Street and McDonald Street level crossings. We are here at Aspendale this morning to discuss the important road and rail impacts for the next 20 days. 🚧 🚌 This is all part of the removal of Station Street, Aspendale and McDonald Street, Mordialloc level crossings. From tomorrow, Friday May 1, we will begin 20 days of disruptions on our Aspendale roads and Frankston train line. We are asking our local community to avoid using Station Street Aspendale unless it is absolutely necessary, given we will be relying on the Aspendale Train Station level crossing and the Edithvale Road intersection to connect with the Nepean Highway until May 21. We are anticipating significant delays, so we will need to allow extra time in the mornings and vary our travel locally to ease the congestion. There have been signal changes at Aspendale Station level crossing to allow more vehicles to get through Station Street and the Nepean Highway. On the Frankston train line, buses will be replacing trains from 10:30pm on Thursday April 30, through to the opening of the new Mordialloc Train Station on May 21.
