I had a full neuropsychological evaluation (drew pictures, wrote sentences, took an IQ test, tapped the space bar on a computer, etc). I got some diagnoses but what sticks in my mind was the official report citing my “astounding level of self deprecation.” what do I win?

Boys is a gay-themed drama movie directed by Christopher Charrier. It’s darker, more emotional, and way more intense than people expect. The movie really leans into loneliness, masculinity, desire, and emotional vulnerability. The atmosphere and chemistry carry a lot of the emotion without needing too much dialogue. Rating: 8.3/10 ⭐

I share your fears, but when I was a kid I would hear evangelicals bemoan ACT UP. Were they not largely successful in transforming public opinion on HIV/AIDS research? They were quite confrontational with civil disobedience but politically savvy as well. How do you strike that balance in today’s algorithmically driven media ecosystem?

I think Chloe Cole is an absolute fraud. I also think this new tactic of trans activists shutting down events where paid liars speak is going to hurt our cause. Is it gonna feed the storyline of trans people trying to shut down dissent. We actually have to build our own messaging system, filled with people that aren’t extremist nutjobs, capable of talking about gender dysphoria, and all its complexities without progressive moralizing.
