I’ll try to not make this too long: Way more could be done to preserve Janet’s legacy. Many good opportunities have been missed in recent years. Janet is sitting on a treasure trove of never before seen footage, photos, and stories from each era that we could be dining on right now. #JanetDoc could have been an 8-part series, one episode per era. Give us the process… the vocal layering, the samples, the struggles behind the scenes. Break down what makes her most loved tracks brilliant and touch on a few deep cuts. Oh and if you don’t do anything else new, release ‘Trust A Try’ and make the visual a dark campy vertical drama style short story of a love triangle. The protagonist is a woman caught between a man and a woman.
