Tried to have some fun, tell a few stories and add some levity to the broadcast while adding a coach’s insight. So after 25 years with the Big Ten and and over 45 years in college soccer as player, coach and announcer my involvement with college soccer officially ends. 2/2

After months of limited response, received a call recently from BTN that they would no longer be using me as a color analyst. Pretty disappointed at complete lack of respect to someone who served the Big Ten for nearly 25 years - and for sure being dropped because of my age. 1/2

Congrats to Coach Dennis Bohn on 200 wins. From Lafayette Volunteer Coach in 1999 sleeping in a fraternity to winningest coach in Lafayette history. Amazing!

This is really hard to write but so many of you have loved and cared about Ben that I wanted to let you know. We found out today the cancer had spread throughout Bens organs and there was nothing left we could do-we had to let him go. I’ve had dogs my whole life but Ben was 1 on 1. He was smart-loving-gentle-patient-inquisitive-and welcoming to all. Always a big smile and a soft tail wag. He and I could communicate..he and I understood each other and had each others backs. He was with me more than anyone at home and traveling with me for work. Such an easy going companion. Hard day-but he will live within all of us forever. God please bless his majestic soul and thank you for putting him in my life for the last 10 years-a true blessing. Love you Ben. 🙏🏼

The Eagles talent won that game. They bailed out the head coach. I’ve asked this for months, where does Nick Sirianni make this team better? His decisions are George Costanza-esque. Just do the opposite. His decisions are holding this team back from being a serious contender.
