Some friends at Everyone.nz & the lovely people at @WellyOnaPlate asked me to illustrate some yummy posters for their 2023 event. This was one of my favourites!  Had some really nice back-and-forth on this one around native birds & magical forests.

Here are a few more pieces of NZ creative industry work that I found on haveibeentrained.com which is a visual database of images that are beings used in Generative AI training. Few more to follow.

Disclaimer: I can't verify the legal status or ownership of these searched images, only that they appear to be in the datasets being used by Gernerative AI programs like Stable Diffusion etc to create 'new work'.

You can learn more about it, search the database for images that may belong to you or others, & theoretically flag them from removal to stop them from being used in future builds or models.

The Generative Image AI that I've been harping on about, hasn't just scraped the ©️ artwork & intellectual property of poor artists & uppity illustrators, they've likely also incorporated the IP of some of our biggest New Zealand companies & their creative partners. #nz #ai
