Which reality?
The reality that there's insecurity and people are hungry?

@felixherbt Bold classification from a bunch of lily‑hearted, over‑pampered kids trained to throw tantrums whenever reality doesn’t bend to their wishes.

Those against Peter Obi's presidency fall into four categories.
1st Category: Thieves who steal public funds to remain relevant in the society.
2nd Category: Aspiring thieves who want to enter government by all means to steal their share of public money.
3rd Category: Idiots and oh-yes members who stand to gain nothing than a cup of rice and they will sing your praises for four years.
4th Category: Tribal bigots who would rather die in poverty than see a competent person from another tribe become president.
You know which category you belong to. 🫵

“This Experience Will Not Repeat Itself” - Another Presidential Promise fails in less than 24 Hours.
Less than 24 hours after President Tinubu stood at the Jos Plateau State airport on April 2, 2026, and promised the grieving Nigerian citizens, “I promise you that this experience will not repeat itself,” another brutal attack occurred in Nyamgo Gyel, Jos South LGA, resulting in the deaths of several innocent citizens.
Since then, and only a week following that reassuring promise from the President, Nasarawa State has been plunged into grief as the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities fled for their lives after gunmen killed at least 11 people. Many homes were reduced to ashes, and numerous families remain missing.
In Zamfara State, 150 innocent Nigerians were abducted from the Kurfa Danya and Kurfan Magaji communities in one of the largest mass kidnappings in recent times. On the same day of the Zamfara kidnappings, terrorists in Borno State stormed Chibok, killing four officers and burning down homes.
Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Benue State was rocked by violence again, with over 17 Nigerians massacred, entire communities left in ruins, and many individuals still unaccounted for. Today, in Kaduna State, several innocent citizens were killed by terrorists inside churches, with many others abducted in the Ariko community of Kachia LGA.
Yet we were told, “This experience will not repeat itself.” This represents a failure of leadership and responsibility, and sadly, Nigerians are paying for it with their lives.
These attackers are not ghostly figures; our inaction emboldens them. How can a President make such a categorical promise and, mere hours later, the nation continues to count the dead across multiple states? The primary responsibility of any government is to protect lives and property; however, this responsibility is failing today. Nigerians are being slaughtered in their homes, in their communities, and in the very places they should feel safest. Even the President did not enter these communities, so who is truly safe in Nigeria?
This is a national emergency. Nigeria is bleeding, and the situation is worsening and increasingly helpless.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

🇧🇫 Burkina Faso's Ibrahim Traoré on “Democracy”:
“If someone just comes up to you and starts talking to you about democracy, you'd better run, because democracy kills”
“Is that what we want? Democracy, where children are being killed, bombs are being dropped, women are being killed, people are being killed, hospitals are being destroyed, civilians are being killed. Is that what democracy is?”
“They act as if they don't see it. There they are with their eyes closed. Young Africans must understand that this notion of democracy is false; it is false. It is just a stick that people hold and use against Africans and certain peoples — that is all. We must forget this notion of democracy; we must embrace the revolutionary spirit”

@rthaeternity @IgumaScott I'm not saying federal government should sack non performing or complying governors but the government can pressure them to work not just give them allocations and not bothered about what they do with it
English

@TimaraNanate @IgumaScott Will he sack them of their seats? Will he go bring dogs on them? He will change in next voting power tho I’m not vouching for anyone but we need to think. They’re a lot different games happened here when ppl complained about an administration he changed em as if he was there.

The government knows what to do to pressure the governors to perform but how are they going to do that when they are worse
English

@IgumaScott Shut your crap of a mouth there
Who is supposed to hold the state governors accountable more? The federal government that gave them the power or the citizens?

The current President of Nigeria once walked into a US federal legal process and handed over $460,000.
Not voluntarily.
A federal judge ordered it.
The FBI, DEA and IRS were running a joint investigation into one of the most active white heroin trafficking operations in Chicago.
Two Nigerian men were at the center of it. One was arrested mid-transaction, selling white heroin directly to an undercover federal agent.
When investigators pulled the financial records apart, the money trail moved in a direction nobody was talking about publicly.
It led to bank accounts that had no business being connected to a drug ring.
An IRS special agent filed a sworn affidavit in federal court. The statement was clear and the funds sitting in those accounts were proceeds of drug trafficking.
The FBI and DEA confirmed the investigation. A federal judge reviewed the evidence and ordered the forfeiture.
The account holder never went to trial. Never faced a criminal charge. Never stood in a courtroom as a defendant.
He simply settled. Surrendered the $460,000. And walked away clean on paper.
He came back to Nigeria.
Won the governorship of Lagos State. Then won again.
Spent the next two decades as the most powerful unelected force in Nigerian politics.
Presidents needed his support to win. Governors did not move without his approval. He decided elections from his living room.
Then he ran for president himself. And won.
The moment he took office, an American citizen filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit demanding the FBI and DEA release every file they were holding on the case.
Every document. Every record. Unredacted.
Both agencies refused. They would not even confirm the files existed.
Hmmmm.
A federal judge reviewed that refusal in 2025 and ruled it was "neither logical nor plausible." She ordered the full files released.
Nigeria's presidency issued one public statement in response.
"There is nothing new to be revealed."
The files are still being processed.
The documents are all public record. I have dropped every link to the original court files in the comments.
Read them yourself.

No, Bola Tinubu was not given $1.5 million (or any equivalent amount) by US authorities.
In a 1993 civil forfeiture case (US v. Account No. 263226700, Northern District of Illinois), federal agencies (FBI, DEA, IRS) investigated bank accounts in his name linked to a Chicago heroin trafficking ring. Court records show over $1 million (some reports cite ~$1.4M–$2M total across accounts) was suspected as drug proceeds, but Tinubu settled without admitting guilt or facing criminal charges. He forfeited $460,000; the case was dismissed with prejudice.
He was never "given" money—he surrendered it as part of the settlement. No conviction occurred, and he has denied any wrongdoing. Full investigative files remain partially sealed as of 2025 per ongoing FOIA litigation.
English

@TimaraNanate @elliot_solution Why did they give him $1.5M and let him go free?
English

@HiseXcllncy @elliot_solution @grok how true is this statement?
Was Tinubu given 1.5 million dollars?
English

@HiseXcllncy @elliot_solution You skipped the part where he failed to fight the forfeiture if the money was earned legally 🤡
Why did he agree to give up 460,000 dollars if it was money he worked for? 🤡
English

@elliot_solution Its not complete. U skipped the conviction part🤡
