@HollyConrad Totally. I do fear that it has a kind of unhealthy escapism or separating effect, where I don’t feel so involved in issues that I maybe should. If only casting fireball was the actual solution to all life’s problems 😂

I think the reason Dungeons and Dragons has become so popular in the last few years is because it allows people to solve fictional problems on a global scale and gives us a sense of control while the real world burns around us.
