As a Brit who is neither Jewish nor Israeli and therefore has no clear bias in the matter, I can honestly say that I think the reason countries like Ireland, the Netherlands and Slovenia are boycotting Eurovision next year is not because they believe Israel should be excluded over the war in Gaza. It is simply because they are jealous that Israel’s artists tend to be far more talented and better looking than their own. 🫳🎤
