Your arguments only reinforces my point on what you term the “ KC noise” or “artificial hype.” That “noise” prompted the need to alter the voting format for final couple to prevent the “artificial hype” from changing the inevitable outcome of him placing in the final as an OG male by popular vote. That would not align with the show’s traditional woman centric blueprint or ROR objective as you term it. He was arguably the season’s most polarizing figure. Melanie a close second.

Usually…there’s room for the exception in this case because of how polarizing of a figure the show has projected KC to be. The forced hate will backfire and work in his favor. Had the voting scheme not been changed for final couple, he would have set the precedent as likely the first OG male finalist with the popularity vote. That would have changed the woman centric blueprint of the show which is what triggered that desperate move to have America vote for 4 couples for the finale as opposed to simply picking one favorite couple to advance.
