@DragonCatalyst The whole market was far bigger back then. Idk what exactly shifted, maybe it's that social media and short form content is bigger now than ever and kinda pushes mobile games to the sidelines but I just don't hear a lot of buzz about any new mobile game anymore

@DragonCatalyst Idk I honestly feel mobile games all in all are kinda dead on arrival. Like all the stuff you see nowadays is what was established a decade ago. Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Subway Surfers, Candy Crush, Pokemon Go. And even those are but a shadow of their former selves.

NGL I have a feeling Dragon Quest Smash Grow won't last long in the west but I am looking forward to it.

@TimmyBoy_77 I think there's 5 or so Skylander games, but point stands.

My boyfriend (who has like 100+ Skylanders unironically) set up Parsec so I was able to try Skylanders (Swap Force) for the first time. Seems like something I'd probably have been into when I was younger if it was available to me. These are my 3 favorites at the moment:

@DragonCatalyst Amiibo were kinda easier to convince your parents with because 1) they often recognize some of the characters themselves, 2) they were used in far more games than just one (or two, idk how many Skylanders there were), and 3) they were addons only, not an essential part of the exp

@TimmyBoy_77 Amiibo was also my first experience with this type of gaming content. 🙂‍↕️

@BenBlazing99 @meafius @AspirinJuice425 I miss the times when people were inventing spoiler names like seven or coffee n cream and then kept their mouths shut as much as possible just to protect new players and let them experience shit on their own instead of constantly feeling the need to backseat their experience

By mentioning there is a spoiler and then non-mentioning the spoiler, it leaves enough room for people with a normally working brain to figure out what's gonna happen. This is such a bad practice, especially in this fandom and I hate it with every fiber of my being

Dragon Quest character of the day #23: The Lord of the Dragovians from DQ8's post game! He believed his race & humans could never coexist so he casted a spell that made him remain in dragon form but this drains life energy from other Dragovians so the party has to stop him.

@pkmn_nds Und ja bei der Wahl hab ich das natürlich auch vergessen gehabt und kannte den movepool von dem Vieh nicht. War aber auch eine meiner aller ersten nuzlockes ever also würde ich das jetzt vermutlich anders machen

@pkmn_nds Der Grund warum eine meiner gen3 randomizer nuzlockes bei der ersten Arena gefailed ist. Meine beste Wahl bei den Startern war mit Abstand ein Larvitar das aber keine physischen stab attacken konnte weil der movepool in gen3 auch sehr Arsch ist

Für alle die es vielleicht vergessen haben oder gar nicht wissen. In Gen 3 (Feuerrot/Blattgrün) ist es vom Typen abhängig ob die Attacke physisch oder speziell ist.
