RIP Charlie Kirk I'm heartbroken. Charlie Kirk was a man with whom I disagreed on most politics. Yet he was also someone willing to laugh with Democrats, debate them, and argue with them respectfully. We are all Americans. We are all human beings. We need to reach across the aisle and befriend those we disagree with. America needs to see more of our politicians and social media influencers from opposite sides of the aisle enjoying each other’s company—sharing dinners, having drinks, and showing love for one another. We don’t need to agree, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends. Instead of letting Charlie’s death divide us, let it bring us together—not politically, but as people.
