@utdreport @PA United’s decline started in that summer of 2009 replacing those players with Owen and Oberten it’s just the genius of SAF that kept United challenging and winning league titles for the next 4 years up until his retirement in 2013.

My concern is that Man United are "waiting" to see if there’s any chance Tchouaméni becomes available. If/when he stays, it’ll be “too late” and there'll be “no value in the market”, with Mason Mount then being backed for a major midfield role. They'll blame Ugarte’s injury as a limit to the budget, and the serious move will have to wait until next summer.
