@lesbohime They need to read The Summer You Were There. That one is good to understand yuri. At least, not messed up like Citrus (it's more like people cheating around, then be loyal at the end? frankly). And not dark romance like Kannazuki no Miko (this one involving rape).

why is it always complaints from people who haven't read that much yuri that always blow up like no shit you think the genre isn't diverse, you barely even tried scratching the surface

You don't have to glaze something wit flaws just bc u like it. This college arc they havent resolved mitsukis trauma and its been like more than 20 chapets w no resolve

Like it gets to a point with the way ppl are acting with Sayonara Lara when it's been great and RevStar was incredible

"not your typical yuri" translation can make you guys feel little off But the director who said it also directed and animated in Revue Starlight, one of the holy anime bibles of many yuri authors. He created this scene, which is Bloom Into You's author favorite

@RafaeGeun The problem is that a bunch of younger yuri fans haven't even given Revue Starlight the time of day because it's not labeled "yuri". They won't know the connection between Koide, Furukawa, and Ikuhara in the first place.
