@UKHospKate It’s quite obvious that UKGOV don’t give a flying fig about small independents.

Not just businesses closing we are also seeing individual outlets closing as headroom to invest is eliminated. These businesses don’t benefit from rate relief and their bills will rise by 6.7%. The cost of doing business is just too high to turn sales into sustainable profit
