Why reading is a good habit I believe that reading sparks the imagination. You often here the phrase, “It’s not as good as the book.” Books are between the author and the reader.

Continue... You, as the reader, get to hear your version of a character’s voice or picture your version of what a place looks like. It’s your imagination creating your version of the world.

Continue... With movies or television, you have the author, director, actors, designers and many other points of view before it gets to you. Reading is for you and whatever your imagination can create.

What are important things which parents must teach to their kids I don’t have kids and I would never be so presumptuous as to try and tell someone what they should or shouldn’t teach their kids, but as an uncle to many and an “honorary uncle”

Continue... to many more I think spending time with them and playing. Go to the tea party, be the super hero or villain, make the sofa cushion fort.

Continue... Allowing the imagination to flourish and the creativity flow paves the way for the scientists, inventors and explorers of tomorrow that will create a new vaccine, discover a new star or a myriad of other possibilities.

How can the education system be improved? This may seem like a general answer but, I believe that today’s education system needs more support from our government in many forms.

Continue... When our educators are spending money from their own pockets for supplies, having to work extra jobs to survive and teaching in a time when school shootings are commonplace, something needs to be changed.
