Good day, every one, I am Timzy Starlight. I want to share my worst and sad experience at work yesterday being Sunday. I work in an hotel as an House keeper since I had an extra session back then in in 2024, September. Today makes it one year, eight months. To cut the story

So after all the blastering and derogatory statement from the manager, they still repeat the same thing at the meeting yesterday saying we are at fault for not being fast at work, this and that and to worsen the whole thing they are yet to pay salary for last month despite today

Well, I am making my decision right now to leave the job but I have to survive till June 10 when NYSC release my call up No and letter. I honestly can't wait to resign and leave for good never going back there for life.

12th of May and this delay in salary payment has always like that from time. Right now I am heartbroken to see how an organization management will go to the level of blaming a staff for a flop at work instead of employing an assistant that will ease the work load on them.

To ease the work load on one person alone from morning till night

The manager to question him why delay in cleaning that big room. The next thing I will hear from the manager is to started blaming me and saying all such of nasty things against totally forgotten that we have been complaining about getting some one for us

Even while cleaning it was called upon intervally to still clean up those rooms again. So this delayed me in cleaning the big room until the director arrived at 9pm and that time I was almost done cleaning the room and parlour. So the director went straight to

and needs to be reused again by customers, I totally skipped a particular room and parlour from morning time till evening before I was able to go there to clean it, even while cleaning I still called upon intervally to clean up other rooms that were already used

To employ an extra person to join us which will reduce the work load on one person cleaning the entire 13rooms more than 3times a day because this particular hotel makes sales a lot. So on Sunday, due to the work load and urgency of some rooms which were used

One person 24 hours a day and the second person 24hours the second day. This has been going on since November last year when two people left from the reception, the work load has been extremely burdensome on me and my partner . On different occasion, I have tried to talk to them.

To cut the story short, I started working with this hotel when I had an extra year in university of Ilorin in 2024. Most times when any staff leaves or resigns due to one reason or the other, we are two that normally remains to clean the rooms which is 13 in total. I worked 24hr
