Comment: “The deeper issue is that Christianity inherits its metaphysical and historical framework from OT scripture. Greek philosophical language and metaphysics were later used to universalize and rationalize the theology, but the underlying narrative structure remains apocalyptic messianic Judaism. That foundation cannot be fully removed without also removing the messianic identity of Jesus itself.” Response: The "messianic identity" of Jesus is not the issue. Identifying Truth is the issue. I'm not interested in standard exegesis, nor is anyone else whose opinion means anything. Much of what Jesus said is obviously true because it's logically verifiable. Jesus is dead, all of the OT prophets are dead, and all the "historical framing" in the world can't change that. It's time for humanity to move forward, even if you personally are stuck in ancient reality and the "historical framing" of scripture. Of course, you're free to disagree, in which case stuck is what you'll remain. Once you dispose of Christianity, you'll be obligated to present a metaphysical picture of reality on the strength of which you can justify a new political worldview corresponding to your perspective, whatever that may be. Otherwise, you're forever mired in aimless relativism. Without moral justification, politics is infinitely mutable and evanescent. I've done the metaphysical restructuring already, and have no interest in arguing about it. Have a nice day. Comment: "The collective genius of our European folk has been completely wasted on solving Jewish rubiks cubes in the sky. The Bible is going to be the death of our race. Only upside is we won’t have to listen to anymore feckless, linguistic mind-crap about metaphysics once we’re all dead. -sigh-" Response: Without it, the lack of a Bible and a unifying religion would already have been the death of your race. Charles Martel, Charlemagne, El Cid, and many others were moved by it to expel Muslim invaders from Europe. (And it sounds like you may be dead already, in which case kindly rest in peace.) Comment: “We really don’t have the time for these theological debates by the way. The vast majority of Christians don’t agree with you and you’re a fringe onlime minority. Hitler wanted to just do away with the religion entirely. Pogroms in Europe will start soon.” Response: How lucky we are to have a saucy, opinionated little cruise director aboard. (By the way, which way’s the salad bar? ;-)

In case anyone still thinks that Israel is "America's greatest ally", here's a little eye-opener for you. It's Israel's Security Minister, Itmar Ben Gvir, "protecting the security of Israel" at our bank-breaking expense by loudly and obnoxiously celebrating the ongoing endless flood of Muslim migrants to all and only White Western nations. x.com/i/status/20297… This disgusting exhibition of pure White-hating malice reflects the fact that Israel and its Ziobankster sugar daddies are 100% behind the replacement of Western majority populations with Third World rabble. It's called White Genoocide. Zionists call Muslims "the broom of Israel" because they and other primitive White-hating populations are expected to "sweep the goyim aside" as part of the "Great Reset". That's when Ziobanksters plan to greedily take over the world by grabbing all the money and power forever. Embrace the "tikkun olam", suckers! Of course, we now have a question to answer: Why would any White person in his or her right mind regard Israel as an American ally, let alone "America's greatest ally", given its longstanding efforts to degrade White societies, steal our state secrets, commit false flags to mislead us, rob us of our homelands, and feed us to rapacious brown-and-back swarms that can't wait to push us out of our own countries and into the flaming dumpsters from which they came? The truth is that Any American who supports what Israel has been doing here in the US, France, the UK, Germany, etc., is clinically insane, incredibly stupid, or a treasonous sewer rat who should be booted into orbit with a biohazard sticker on his traitorous, ungrateful ass. What could President Trump possibly think he's doing? What the hell could be going through his head? Inquiring minds want to know.

In just the last few days, Trump has told at least four obvious and major lies about the war: that it was Iran that bombed the girls’ school; that Iran was two weeks away from having a nuclear weapon; that Iran was just about to attack the U.S. before we struck; and that Iran was going to take over the Middle East if we hadn’t attacked. This is on top of all the other contradictory statements that government officials have been making about the war. This manifest dishonesty shows that the war does not meet the “just cause” and “right intention” conditions in just war doctrine. Since there does not appear to be any clear and consistent cause for the war in the first place, it can hardly be a just cause; and a leader who repeatedly lies to his citizens about something so grave cannot plausibly be said to have a right intention in fighting it. And let’s not hear any sophistry about just war doctrine reflecting too Ivory Tower a view of things. With an enterprise as momentous as war, it is hardly too much to ask that there be a clear and consistent aim and a concrete and realistic plan for achieving it; and it is hardly too much to ask that our leaders not repeatedly and shamelessly lie about what that aim is.

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸
It was all so easy and Trump and Republicans just went and F’d it all up. We voted to lower gas prices, inflation, cost of groceries, and housing. We voted to hold people accountable for lawfare, deadly open borders, covid crimes. We voted for no more foreign wars, no more regime change, and to stop paying for foreign wars. After a year, Trump starts a major war in Iran for Israel, destabilizing the Middle East, costing over $1 billion dollars a day, driving up the cost of gas, and tragically are killing innocent children they claim to be liberating. Meanwhile, Senate Republicans literally refuse to pass the Save America Act because they refuse to remove the self imposed 60 vote rule. And because they refuse to remove the filibuster (60 vote rule) they refuse to pass anything using their 53 seat majority, wait make that 52 seat majority bc Trump took a Republican Senator into his admin. Trump has betrayed his campaign promises of no more foreign wars and Republicans refuse to win. I won’t vote for Democrats but I sure as hell won’t vote for a bunch of Republicans that lie on the campaign trail and refuse to do what they promised when they get into office. And for the love of God, why can’t you useless politicians at least try to lower the cost of health insurance. Just try. But they won’t. All they do is fail, fail, fail because it is all designed to fail.

@FeserEdward Are Trump and J.D. Vance supposed to salute here? They are civilians who didn't serve in the military. They're wearing civilian uniforms. Trump is wearing that dumb hat.

Yes, and I'm told that it's terribly irresponsible to weigh the moral considerations for and against an action that could result in countless deaths, before said action is actually taken. Much safer, apparently, to wait until after it's too late. War fever breaks people's brains.

@FeserEdward The Just War doctrine is usually trotted out for years later post factum analysis, but you are doing this in the middle of a hot war. What are you thinking?!

The process of declaring someone a saint is broad and thorough. However, there is a group that says the process of declaring President John F. Kennedy a saint should begin, while others say he does not have the necessary qualifications. What do you say about this?

Pope Leo has rightly criticized jingoistic militarism but he is no pacifist, as he makes clear in this fine address in which he praises the nobility of the soldier’s calling. But that calling, as he says, is one of “service,” to “protect the weak” and “restore order.” It is not to treat the grave enterprise of war as if it were a video game, or recklessly to endanger civilian lives, or to rejoice in killing and in the expression of one’s libido dominandi. Those who promote this obscene caricature of the soldier’s calling only dishonor it. vatican.va/content/leo-xi…

When Pope St. John Paul II warned against going to war in Iraq, I thought he was being naïve. And he did sometimes say things that were too close to pacifism. But his concern about the effects on civilian populations was prophetic. Overall, he was right and I was wrong.
